Inside Tyga’s Modern Barcelona Penthouse

Today, AD is welcomed by rapper Tyga to tour his modern penthouse in Barcelona. Designed to feel like a daily escape, the home blends New York penthouse style, LA comfort, and Japanese art influences to create a sleek, minimalist sanctuary. Perched above the city with panoramic views of the Barcelona skyline, this airy space captures the essence of a permanent vacation. But the true highlight? Yo, what's going on, AD? I'm Tyga.

Welcome to my home in Barcelona.

[upbeat rhythmic music]

More importantly, this is like the view of Barcelona.

It's a really good view.

I looked at a lot of places,

but the fact that you could see, you know, the hills,

you could see the beach, the water.

The palm trees remind me of LA.

Yeah, I wanted to find something that was more like a condo

that kind of gave me like a penthouse,

like kind of New York kind of vibe.

And so all the furniture, I wanted to make it all white,

very like modern, clean,

and just put like a bunch of art and keep it very.

It was kind of like a New York penthouse inspiration.

Toys. Well, it is kind of like art.

It's like Japanese art.

So it's like KAWS. You have like the bare bricks.

It's kind of like just kind of Japanese art.

I have a lot of it at my home in LA,

so I kind of wanted to just have stuff here

so it's like similar to my house in LA.

The favorite one is probably like the original KAWS.

It's the gray, the two-tone gray color one.

It's like the very first KAWS, the original one.

So it's like the first one I bought when I was like younger,

so that's probably the best one that I like so far.

I think the best part of the living room

is probably, obviously the couch here

with like all the windows open because you get the view,

you get all the palm trees.

Barcelona has a lot of greenery, a lot of trees,

so that's really nice.

I feel great here.

Really, the view is really important for me.

I feel like, you know, it makes me feel like a staycation,

like a vacation, you know?

No, not yet. I haven't like done any studio.

I've done studio here before.

It's not far from here,

but I mean, I still want to add more things.

The more time I spend here, you know,

I'll get more ideas and I'll add more stuff.

I'll probably want to add like more art.

Definitely just since I have like a lot of white furniture,

just like color here and there.

Maybe like some like neon signs

or stuff like that, you know?

I like a very clean, simplistic style furniture.

So it's like not too much stuff everywhere.

Very like clean and minimal.

And then just add it with like some character,

whether it's like color or art, you know?

What makes a house a home?

It definitely has to be something

that's kind of like an extension of yourself

and your personality,

so like whatever makes you comfortable, you know?

Like some people would be scared

to have like white furniture

'cause people spilling things and stuff.

But like, you know, I don't have any pets

so I don't have any like.

And hopefully like my friends aren't like dirty

to where like they're spilling stuff

and cigarettes on the couch, you know?

I like everything kind of clean, so.

[upbeat music]

But definitely the area is really nice.

I like the fact that you could walk around

everywhere out here, you know?

It's a lot of shopping, a lot of restaurants.

It's like that similar in LA but like, not like this.

Like you could walk everywhere here, you know?

So you kind of just feel a little more free,

I feel like here than LA.

[upbeat music]

It is my favorite part of the house, which is the rooftop

because obviously you have the pool here.

You see the whole city now, you know?

You see the whole, the palm trees, you see the stadium,

you see the beaches, the ocean, you know?

So it's kind of really a view,

a whole landscape of Barcelona.

Yeah, so I come up here, sit down.

It's just a nice vibe, you know?

Like bring friends over here, sit by the pool,

and you got the whole landscape of Barcelona right here.

And obviously like all the furniture,

I wanted it to be very modern,

but definitely still have like a beach club kind of feel,

so all the furniture's kind of very low, minimal, you know?

Kind of simple but like still clean, you know?

And it matches the rest of the house

and the furniture in the house.

[upbeat music]

Yeah, definitely I'm a huge soccer fan for sure.

Huge fan of Barcelona.

And especially my son, you know,

he plays soccer and he loves, it's his favorite team.

So really coming here

and being able to see the view of the stadium

is just like, it's priceless.

Like, you know, like that's what really sold me

on this place, this spot right here.

Definitely in the future maybe, you know,

definitely gotta be some inspiration of Spain and Barcelona.

Definitely in the music, you know.

[upbeat music]

Thank you AD for coming to my house in Barcelona.

Until next time.
