She famously hails from Barbados, but where does Rihanna live now? Though she has collected an array of homes around the world, the pop superstar seems to mainly reside in Beverly Hills, along with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their children: three-year-old RZA, two-year-old Riot, and their newly born daughter, Rocki.

In between acquiring properties in Los Angeles and Barbados, the “Lift Me Up” singer has also rented several enviable dwellings over the years, in Manhattan, the Hamptons, and London. Here, we’ve rounded up all of the mansions, penthouses, villas, and condos that the chart-topping musician has called home over the years.

Beverly Hills Post Office mansion

Rihanna first burst onto the scene as the 16-year-old prodigy of Jay-Z’s Def Jam Recordings in 2005. “I left home as a teenager, and I left everything I knew: my family, my friends, my food, my culture. And I came to a big city by myself, and the only option for me was to win,” the musician said of that period in a recent interview. As we all know, she did win—and her success soon began to translate into luxurious real estate. Four years later, she purchased a $6.9 million mansion in the coveted Beverly Hills Post Office area of Los Angeles. The property measured three-quarters of an acre, with a main house featuring eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. There was also a picturesque swimming pool out back. It wasn’t all roses, however: The house was prone to leaking, and Rihanna ended up suing the seller, the inspector, brokers, and the engineers who worked on the house. She sold the 8,520-square-foot, three-story contemporary at a loss for $5.03 million in 2011 and settled the lawsuit in 2014. The renovated property was later owned by John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, who bought it for $14.1 million in 2016.

Pacific Palisades rental

After selling her Beverly Hills Post Office home, Rihanna stayed in a stunning bluff-top Pacific Palisades mansion, which she rented for $65,000 a month in 2012. The 10,970-square-foot behemoth boasted 14-foot ceilings, a 6,000-square-foot garden, a rooftop sun deck, and seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. One thing she didn’t bargain for, however, was the number of stalkers who descended upon her home. According to Curbed, after multiple trespassers were spotted on the property within the first few months of her time there, Rihanna opted to relocate. The house later sold for $11.175 million in 2016.

Manhattan penthouse

The “Diamonds” singer began renting a $39,000-a-month penthouse in Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood in 2013. Spanning about 4,600 square feet across two floors (plus a 2,400-square-foot wraparound terrace), the chic condo had four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a steel-and-wood floating staircase, 13-foot ceilings, concrete floors, a wood-burning fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, and views of the Empire State Building. Rihanna moved out in 2017; at that time, her rent for the unit had risen to around $50,000.

Barbados beachside villa

The same year she began renting in Manhattan, Rihanna decided to lay down roots in her native Barbados. She paid $22 million for a beachside villa at One Sandy Lane, one of eight adjacent condos just down the street from the famous Sandy Lane Hotel. The 10,000-square-foot pad features five bedrooms, each with its own private terrace, bathroom, and dressing room, as well as a huge pool, a private gym, and a 24-hour concierge. The singer still owns this property, which is not too far from a five-bedroom home that she bought for her mother in 2012.

After dealing with stalkers at her Pacific Palisades home, Rihanna sought privacy behind the concrete walls of a house known as the Fortress, a behemoth designed by David Lawrence Gray Architects. Perched above the Sunset Strip, the 10,000-square-foot dwelling featured 40-foot ceilings, a two-bedroom guesthouse, and a notoriously phallic-shaped swimming pool. The singer paid $60,000 a month for the modern mansion starting in 2014, and moved out in 2017.

Around the same time she started renting the Fortress, Rihanna also shelled out $5.5 million for a penthouse in the Robert A.M. Stern–designed Century tower, where other high-profile residents included Paula Abdul, celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and the late Friends star Matthew Perry. The perks of the 42-story luxury condo include a 24-hour valet, a 75-foot pool, and intense anti-paparazzi security. Rihanna still owns this condo.

In 2023, Rihanna splashed out $21 million for a second penthouse unit in The Century. The singer purchased the home from Afterpay cofounder Nick Molnar, who had bought the pad from Perry. The four-bedroom, eight-bathroom dwelling measured an impressive 9,300 square feet and occupied the 40th floor of the skyscraper. Rihanna reportedly never moved into the unit and flipped it back onto the market for $25 million in early 2024; the unit entered into contract a couple of months later, selling for $20.8 million.

Wilshire Corridor condo

Though not much is known about Rihanna’s Wilshire Corridor condo, she reportedly paid $925,000 for it in 2015, and the 2,000-square-foot unit sits on one of the upper floors of the high-rise, likely a reaction to the stalker issues she dealt with at her Pacific Palisades house. It is unclear if the pop star still owns the home.

Hollywood Hills villa

Rihanna had a landmark year in 2017: She launched her massively successful Fenty Beauty brand and also bought a $6.8 million Mediterranean-style villa in the Hollywood Hills. The six-bedroom, 10-bathroom main house measured 7,130 square feet. The half-acre property also featured a guest house that was set up as a fitness center, an infinity pool, and multiple outdoor lounge areas. Just one year after she purchased the place, however, the singer faced more trespassers and decided to put the home on the market for $7.5 million. After several years of renting out the home and trying to sell it, the sprawling pad finally changed hands for $6.6 million in 2022, about $250,000 less than she originally paid for it.

West Hollywood flip

The same year the “Umbrella” singer purchased her Mediterranean-style home in the Hollywood Hills, she also acquired a $2.75 million Spanish-style villa in West Hollywood. The dwelling spanned a little over 2,600 square feet, with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. A two-story guesthouse near the backyard swimming pool added an additional bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms. Three months after buying the property, Rihanna flipped it back onto the market for $2.85 million; it sold a few months later.

London mansion

Rihanna headed overseas in 2018, renting a historic 19th-century London house for approximately $21,000 a week. The eight-bedroom mansion measured 6,332 square feet and included a home gym, movie theater, and enough parking space for 10 cars. Design details included mirror-lined ceilings and black parquet floors. There was also a music room with a Swarovski crystal-lined bar. The singer stayed in the home, which was located in the city’s St. John’s Wood neighborhood, for over two years; it hit the market in September 2020 for $40.94 million.

Rihanna splashed out $415,000 a month to stay in a rental home in the Hamptons in the summer of 2020. According to Observer, the singer stayed at the 6,140-square-foot waterfront home for just one month, from mid-July to mid-August, riding out the first pandemic summer in the secluded privacy of the five-bedroom, six-bathroom retreat. The home also happens to be the spot where Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian filmed Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons back in 2014.

LA Canyonside home

Rihanna kicked off 2021 by moving into a $13.8 million home in Beverly Hills. The 1930s dwelling is situated on a cul-de-sac with A-list former and current residents that include Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Sir Paul McCartney, and features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms spread across 7,600 square feet. The contemporary-style dwelling features an open floor plan lined with French oak floors. Among its amenities are a second-floor home gym with a full wall of windows overlooking a central courtyard, as well as a swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit, and numerous outdoor terraces for entertaining. The singer and her growing family still maintain the half-acre property, which is rumored to be their primary residence.

Until recently, the “Love on the Brain” singer could also stay at partner A$AP Rocky’s nearby 4,300-square-foot residence, which he bought in 2015 for $3.05 million. The rapper sold that five-bedroom property in an off-market deal in April 2025 for $3.95 million.

Tudor-style Beverly Hills pad

Three months after picking up her 1930s Beverly Hills pad, Rihanna bought a $10 million mansion next door. The Tudor-style dwelling spanned 3,549 square feet, featuring wood beams and an oversized swimming pool out back. The pop star parted ways with the home for $10.3 million in 2023.
