Another year has come and gone, and with it came the usual crowd of big names and billionaires buying and selling their majorly pricey properties. Though plenty of lavish dwellings changed hands in 2025, this year did see celebs making slightly less expensive deals. Last year, Tom Ford shelled out $104 million for a London mansion, and Beyoncé and Jay-Z broke records with their $200 million Malibu dwelling in 2023. In 2022, there were two transactions that cracked nine digits. Meanwhile, this year’s list tops out at $82.5 million. (Recession indicator?) Can you guess who made that deal? Read on to find out.
Mark Wahlberg, $37 million
Actor Mark Wahlberg kicks off our yearly list with the 18,000-square-foot Florida mansion he bought in October for $37 million. The contemporary-style Delray Beach home, named Palazzo di Lago, takes design inspiration from northern Italy and Casino Royale. Wahlberg purchased the seven-bedroom, 12-bathroom home fully furnished. Highlights of the flashy abode include 30-foot-tall ceilings, walls lined with glossy Brazilian wood, a game room equipped with a sprawling wet bar, a movie theater, a hidden cigar lounge, a wellness retreat, and two kitchens. The 2.5-acre resort-like grounds boast a saltwater lagoon, a tennis court, a guesthouse, and a cabana complete with its own kitchen.
Jake Paul, $39 million
In April, YouTuber and professional boxer Jake Paul paid $39 million for a 5,653-acre ranch in Georgia. He used his winnings from his 2024 boxing match against Mike Tyson to pay for the property, realizing a longtime dream. “I’ve wanted to buy a ranch for the last 15 years,” he said on an episode of the podcast The Iced Coffee Hour. “I wanted a place where I can wake surf, hunt, and build a racetrack.” When he’s not busy with those activities, Paul can rest his head in one of the 4,884-square-foot main house’s eight bedrooms, or in one of the three other homes found on the property.
Robbie Williams, $40 million
English pop star Robbie Williams shelled out $40 million for the Miami home of former Real Housewives star Nicole Martin this summer. Located on a one-acre waterfront property, the seven-bedroom residence was built in 2016 and spans 19,380 square feet. An 18-car garage, an outdoor kitchen, and a massage room are just a few of its luxe amenities. Reportedly, Williams bought the already spacious abode with the intention of making it even grander by adding a 2,000-square-foot guest pavilion complete with a recording studio.
The Weeknd, $50 million
Singer and actor Abel Tesfaye (a.k.a. The Weeknd) dropped $50 million on a mansion in Coral Gables, Florida, in October. The Miami-adjacent plot spans 1.24 acres, with 574 feet of water frontage. The Mediterranean-style digs host eight bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and two half-baths across nearly 19,000 square feet of interior living space.
George Lucas, $52.3 million
In September, Star Wars and Indiana Jones creator George Lucas put down roots across the pond with the off-market purchase of a $52.3 million London mansion. Details of the dwelling are scant, but we do know that it is located in the city’s posh St. John’s Wood neighborhood.
Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, $60 million
Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine and model Behati Prinsloo let go of their Georgian-style Montecito home in October for $60 million. The pad was originally built in 2009 for actor Rob Lowe, who showed it off in an Architectural Digest feature the following year. For their tenure, Levine and Prinsloo tapped AD100 firm Clements Design to renovate the abode, which clocks in at 11,500 square feet, with nine bedrooms and a whopping 14 bathrooms. The power couple paid $52 million for the 3.41-acre property in 2022. The estate also hosts a two-bedroom guesthouse, a poolhouse, a tennis court, two garages, a koi pond, and a chicken coop.
Jeff Bezos, $63 million
Jeff Bezos got $63 million for his Seattle mansion in April, breaking the record for the priciest home ever sold in Washington state. The Hunts Point dwelling, which the Amazon founder bought in 2019 for $37.5 million, is 9,420 square feet, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, and sits on a 3.27-acre property on the shores of Lake Washington.
Paris Hilton, $63.1 million
In June, Paris Hilton paid $63.1 million for Mark Wahlberg’s former estate in Beverly Park, Los Angeles, after losing her Malibu home in the Palisades fire earlier in the year. The socialite and former reality star’s new dwelling was custom-built for Wahlberg in 2014 and sits on six acres. Spanning 30,500 square feet, the Richard Landry–designed home boasts 12 bedrooms. A sports court, a skate park, a golf course, a movie theater, a wine and cigar cellar, and a resort-style swimming pool with waterslides are among its fun amenities.
Mark Zuckerberg, $65 million
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg quietly expanded on his already sprawling compound in Hawaii this year, dropping at least $65 million on about 1,000 acres of ranch land in Kauai. He now owns over 2,300 acres there, with his estate, known as Ko’olau Ranch, valued at $300 million.
Byron Allen, $82.5 million
Media titan and comedian Byron Allen tops the list with the $82.5 million condo that he sold in an off-market deal this spring. The full-floor unit was at 220 Central Park South, a Robert A.M. Stern–designed tower on Manhattan’s Billionaire’s Row. Spanning 6,600 square feet, the pad offers up five bedrooms. Allen bought the pad in 2023 for $75 million, so he made quite the profit on the sale.
